    E-Learning Application educators must not overlook in this era

Technology has changed the face of education across the globe and it’s a system that will continue to improve on its past achievements. Teaching in the 21st century has become easier, convenient, and less stressful with the introduction of E-Learning applications.

E-Learning applications have played a huge role in the advancement of education across the globe and its important educators get themselves familiar with the application they must be well-equipped with, in a bid to develop themselves.

What is an E-Learning Application? 

E-Learning App is a social networking website for education which connects students, teachers, parents and school or institution in a safe and unique network. 

This App is just like other prominently used social networks but doesn't allow you to divert from the topic and help you to stick on to the topic. One benefit of these types of apps is that they can keep students connected to the classroom, even while they’re away from school.

Highlighted below are E-Learning Applications educators must be well-equipped with in this era.

Microsoft Teams:

Microsoft Teams is a persistent chat-based collaboration platform complete with document sharing, online meetings, and many more extremely useful features for teaching in the classroom.  It has become one of the most used platforms across the globe. With Microsoft Teams, educators can quickly converse with students, share files and websites. It also allows educators organize interactive lessons and provide effective and timely feedback. 

Microsoft Forms: 

Microsoft Forms is a simple, lightweight app that lets you easily create surveys, quizzes, and polls. In education, it can be used to create quizzes, collect feedback from teachers and parents, or plan class and staff activities.

Microsoft Onenote:

Microsoft OneNote is a note-taking application for free-form information gathering and multi-user collaboration. It gathers student and teachers notes, drawings, screen clippings, and audio commentaries. Notes can be shared with other educators and teachers over the Internet or a network. 

Flipgrid:

Flipgrid is a website that allows teachers to create "grids" to facilitate video discussions. Each grid is like a message board where teachers can pose questions, called "topics," and their students can post video responses that appear in a tiled grid display. Flipgrid is a simple, free, and accessible video discussion experience for learners and families.

Wakelet:

Wakelet is a content curation platform where teachers and students can save links, social media posts, videos, and images as items to later be organized into private or public collections.

Microsoft Office 365: 

Microsoft Office 365 is a suite of cloud-based productivity and collaboration applications that integrates all Microsoft's existing online applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, Sway, and Access) into a cloud service, adding Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams as the main communication.

Seesaw: 

Seesaw is an ideal app for teachers by saving their time for quality teaching and it is no surprise that it is being used in 1 out of 2 schools in the US. Students do their works themselves & teachers can just browse good homework for them. They start creating impressive digital portfolios for them. Teachers and educators get a chance to assess each student in a more prior way than in real classrooms through seesaw.

Google Classroom:

Google Classroom has a wide variety of options for educators, not only do you distribute and grade assignments through the app, class materials can be organized on Google Drive, you can also reach your students more easily either to make announcements or to engage them in discussions. Teachers can now boost engagement with the Student Selector, which randomly selects students from the roster, so you can motivate full classroom participation.

Zoom

With Zoom, Students and teachers can easily collaborate in a virtual digital space. Zoom has become one of the most used learning platforms across the globe, the instant screen sharing options, cross-platform instant messaging along good audio and video quality have made it one of a kind. 

Liveboard Interactive Whiteboard App

This is a handy app for teachers and educators to conduct classroom teaching, online teaching, or do video tutoring. Teachers can communicate with students despite the time and location in real-time via live messaging or audio chat

Class Dojo:

ClassDojo is a simple communication app for students, teachers, and parents. One can recreate a beautiful classroom through the app. Children get more activities in their digital portfolios.

Evernote:

Evernote is a handy note-taking app beneficial for both teachers & students. Teachers can replace those lengthy printed notes with notes in various formats including audio, videos, PDFs, and more.

Summary:

As educators continue to impart knowledge to students, there is no denying that mobile apps are the future and add power to teachers' and educators’ efforts in tomorrow's economy. With this in mind, educators must get themselves acquainted with the latest technology that will aid learning.
